Short lectures and workshops are being organised in order to introduce the project to the local community.
The Lithuanian artist Monika Balu gave four classes about the history of photography, pinhole cameras and solargraphy for the pupils aged 11-12 in three schools, and for the staff of Streekbuorkerij Op ‘e Stâl. After the lectures, the staff prepared the boxes together with the artist, while the pupils decorated and named them. Each box is photographed and catalogued with before and after images.
